Week 3

Hard to believe how little has been achieved so far! It feels odd repairing something before taking it to bits. Must getting it running right now or I'll never find out whats wrong with it later.

Fitted the replacement crankcase breather and inlet manifold and it still wont run right. Keeps hunting so looking for an air leak into the inlet side. Found one of the brackets on the fuel rail had snapped off so ordered a replacement one.

A useful lesson about buying stuff on eBay as well this week. Always read the sellers feedback - can save a lot of disappointment later!

Amyway, got the replacement rail and fitted that. Runs lovely now.

Next job is a service. Well new oil, filter, plugs and auxilliary belt anyway. 

Week 2

Bit of a quiet week with one thing and another. Time spent ordering parts to replace those accident damaged. A new inlet manifold, crankcase breather oil separator and a new radiator on order.
Got the V5 from DVLC as well.
